My art is eclectic. I paint in watercolor and acrylic: people, landscapes, mermaids, and lizards – or anything that interests me.
I studied art in high school and at the University of Illinois, finally graduating from the University of South Carolina in 1978. I also enjoy doing pen drawings, filling my sketchbook pages with patterns and doodles. I am also working on an art journal in collage, adding pen designs to all of the white space.
I am rather fond of Alice, of Wonderland fame. Like her, I am trying to figure out where I am going, but in my case, with my art. There seems to be no rhyme or reason why I do a particular piece, except that it strikes my fancy and I have the time.
