D. Lynn Gore, better known as Donna to her friends and family, is a Speech-Language Pathologist by profession and an artist at heart. Music and a love of art come naturally. She comes from a family of musicians and artists - from her mom, dad, and brothers to her two adult sons. Her number one supporter is her husband, Bud, a clinical psychologist.
A member of several art organizations including the SC Watermedia Society, Donna has served many leadership and organizational positions. Her work hangs in numerous corporate and private collections. She has won many awards for her art and participates in various galleries and one-person exhibitions.
"Although I have painted in various mediums, I love watercolor and other watermedia. I particularly focus on color and on creating light and great texture in my work. Painting is a passion and an opportunity to become lost in the creative process. When this happens, the colors flow and my excitement grows as well."
